Rijndistrict is an area in Arnhem that we are proud to call home—our own studio is located here. To showcase the area's untapped potential, we developed a cohesive spatial identity and organized an open-studio event where various cultural partners could present themselves to the public.
A visual identity does more than just decorate; it has the power to unify people and provide clarity. For Rijndistrict, the impact goes far beyond a single poster or event. It facilitates a tangible exchange, marking the area as a place in active transition.
To involve the community directly, Jeanine Zielman developed a custom digital poster tool. This allowed every participant to upload their own imagery and generate a personalized event poster. The tool was an immediate success: participants embraced the creative agency it offered, sharing their unique designs across their own social media channels. In this way, the digital tool functioned as both a creative outlet and a powerful organic marketing engine, significantly expanding the project's reach.
